Please future residents reconsider you stay at Park Lane East. This place is infested with mice and HUGE water bugs. It does not stop. Every Monday they have the exterminator come in to put mousetrap down and the spray for water bugs. But it DOES NOT work. With in 2 week I caught 3 mice and a water bugs on a mousetrap, not within the same day, just when I thought it was over I see a water bugs run under may fridge and mice dropping on my counter in the kitchen, when will the madness end. For some odd reason the mice just love to leave there mark there, I stopped using that counter along time ago. Over & over I keep complaining about the mice & roach problem and every time they say we will send an exterminator over next Monday. This place is disgusting. And guess what they got the nerve to tell me when I renew my lease, they will be raising the rent to $805, which is $40 more for maintenance and repair, are they serious, management has lost their mind. Maintenance and repair, WHAT. I won't even consider staying there another year, after my lease is up, I'm leaving. There are so many apartments vacant there; I think they're really raising the rent because no one is moving in. People trust and believe me when I say don't move here. But if you do, you will only stay one year, like me. They say they offer free heat, they don't turn on the heat until Oct or Sept, and you can't control the temperature, AT ALL. The windows are old; in the winter you can feel a cold draft. I called the manager about the air coming thru my window, this lady is going to tell me put some curtains up, the nerve of her. I had some many problem at this apartment it's crazy. From the toilet, dysfunctional dishwasher, mice, water bugs, uncontrolled heat, smells in the hallway, drafty windows, fridge leaking water, and thin walls. This place just collect the rent and tell you to screw-off.
