I don't know what to say except they took my close friend for a ride. She lived there for twenty years. She worked for them for the last several years she lived there. Some new staff were particulary very cruel to her and employment was ended. Several days later they tried to evict her because they claimed she no longer made enough money to live there! But her rent was already paid two months in advance. She always made a habit of paying several months up. So when they took her to court to evict, the judge laughed because she had a new job that paid more than they paid. She made more than enough to meet their requirements. The judge dismissed thier case. But she voluntarily left about 2 months later. They tried to damage here name and although the judgement was a dismissal, it still appears on her credit. Beware when you move here. It's noisy, the hallway smells, and it has huge bugs. Don't let these people damage your name, simply because they don't like you!

I knew quite a few people who lived here. All thier aparments looked nice. But the hallways always had a disgusting smell. Everyone I know that lives there, will not recommend it. They say they have mice an water bugs. Every single one of them claim to have an issue with the office staff. There is definately something wrong with the office staff. Watch out if you come here.

I know who this person is speaking of, and i was there every step of the way. I was her neighbor. She did work for Park Lane East as a housekeeper. When her employment ended with these people, she was given a hard time and all of a sudden, she was asked to leave. I don't know if they tried to evict her or threatened not to renew her lease, but she was wronged and they wanted her out. This could happen to anybody. Landlord can end contract with you very easily. Just be on good terms with one another. She was a very nice person. It is sad to see that management can be so cruel & lie about something like this. when someone does not like you that is in a management position, they can conjure up anything to get a tenent out. especially if they are on a month to month lease. management did hire someone who lived there. I watched her pick up her check from them on Payday. Be careful no matter where you move to. I can see, they know exactly who this person is because as of this day, this is the only review that has a response from management. These are the facts, I suggest you recheck your history.....

Yes, some employees do live on site. As with most places, when your employment ends, so does your free rent. What do you expect? I heard the person was stealing. I've lived here for 9 years and I've heard a lot of things, and some of my friends have now moved in. Managment does keep the apartments very nice. I don't have any problems.

6/19 person-where do you see that this tenent recieved free rent? From what I have read, this person was a paying employee-so I don't know what your talking about. looks like you changed your response-are you an employee too? I have lived in Upper Darby for many years and some of my friends and co-workers live/d at Parklane. Half of them like it, half of them don't. It looks ok to me..but I hate large apartment communities; too many rodents and attitudes! I think that it depends on you and your landlord how well the both of you get along. Sometimes it's best to own. You do not have to deal with many of these stupid things landlords/tenets put you through. I think the moral of the story is to "be careful of everyone".
