This apartment building has some nice features: beautiful architecture, lovely hardwood floors, and a nice courtyard. However, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for many, many reasons. First, the apartment management is made up of some of the rudest people I've ever met. I try to be pleasant on when talking to management and I've never had a problem with management in other apartments I've rented. Here, though, they talk to you in a patronizing way and don't address your concerns. Maintenance is iffy, so don't depend on them. They will come when and if they feel like it. Even then, they may not fix things. We had about a month in which we had no hot water- sometimes it was lukewarm, but even those happy days were getting rare. As stated by others, the elevator only works half the time. Beyond all this, there are often drug deals going on in the outside stairwells and I often smell pot on my way in. The front door often has broken glass from people breaking in. Parking late at night is often difficult and this isn't a safe area to walk in when it's late. During the day parking is usually fine. There are often ants and roaches in the building. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anybody.
