I have lived in Woodstream (Now Jefferson On the Creek) for two years. Being in Property Management myself I can say that pre-Jefferson takeover the management was the worst I've ever seen. They were really weird, cold and more importantly nothing got done. We had a leaky ceiling inoperable appliances and there was even a time that our air conditioner broke on a Fridayday afternoon (The 24-hour maintenance promise is actually a lie) we sweat it out until Monday.
With that being said, I think the new management has got their act together. The pool is now open to all resients as opposed to the suckers who paid $75 to swim in that hole. Plus plans are in the works for a new community center. Landscaping is also looking nicer.
Being in the BIZ I can tell you that rent THE BEST BARGAIN IN BUCKS COUNTY. We paid $1205 for a 3 bed / 2.5 bath 1450 sq foot townhome. Where I worked, we rented 3 bed / 2.5 baths 1100 sq foot apartments for $1450. Not to mention that where I worked at was Phillly, where car insurance is doubled.
The heating is downright terrible in costs. These walls suck up heat like a monster. Our bills have been as high as $375 in the winter and thats with turning heat on and off. You will NEVER have a bill less than $150. Its just not gonna happen.
The parking situation is sometimes tough at "The Creek" But in all fairness its the same problem at every complex. Most were built before famalies had multiple cars. The toughest time to park is weekends, when people tend to have more company / visitors.
The location is prime. It is located off of Street Road, which is a major road that stretches over 20 miles from Bristol up to Warrington. Major shopping within walking distance. Plus there is a train station 2 miles away.
As for noise you have a choice. If your unit is closer to Street Road, you'll hear cars and dumpter pickups but you'll be much closer to the exit (easier to get out). Otherwise noise is not bad but its further to pullout of the complex.
