My wife and I moved here a couple months ago and right now we a getting ready to move out. Looks can be very deceiving. We thought we were moving into a nice, safe community but this is far from the truth. After we moved here we heard from a couple of our neighbors that cars get broken into on the compound on a regular basis. We had our first car problems on the compound a couple months later. One night someone vandalized my wife's car. There wasn't any serious damage and it only cost us 7 bucks for a car wash. We were not so lucky a couple months after this incident. The second incident with our car on the compound resulted in $1000 in damage to our car, $500 of which had to come out of our pockets. Our neighbor had a relative vistiting her from out of state and woke up one morning to find that her car had been broken into. Talk about a bad impression.

In every case the response from the office is the same, "It's not our problem. Call the police and make a report." Considering that nine months after moving into this apartment we got a notice stating that our rent would be increased from $1100 to $1210, I think that the owners of this property have a responsibility to their tenants to provide some type of security on THEIR property. There are cheaper complexes in the area which have private security patrolling their grounds at night. Our neighbor also told us that there have been kids that have gone missing from the compound. I know of none that disappeared while we lived here and I cannot verify what our neighbor told us. I'm just letting you know what we heard.

If you still want to move here after what I've said above, consider the following:

1) The apartments are old. Don't be fooled by a fresh coat of paint. Take a very close look at EVERYTHING before you sign your lease.

2) Be prepared to budget between $150 and $200 monthly for your utility bill if you have a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartments do not have energy efficient windows so a lot of your heating and cooling dollars go right out the windows.

3) If you must come here to live, get a second floor apartment. The floors are really thin. That way you'll be the one pissing off your neighbor below you because they can trace your footsteps as you walk around your apartment.

4) Decrease your deductible on your car insurance.

If you're still not convinced then you're probably the right type of sucker for a place like this. Enjoy.

as an ex resident, this is the real truth, hi price made attitude from the office, old building, could hear through the cileings ever time old man upstairs got up to pee in the night, DON'T MOVE Here the only time the office is nice is before you sign your lease
