New management doesn't care about tenants

My husband and I lived here for 1 year and that was all we were willing to take. I'm not usually the one to complain but in this case I just had to add my own comments about this place. There are two things which really bugged me about this complex; management and the safety of my car. One night my car was egged, possibly by one of the numerous tenagers on the complex who are always hanging around late at nught during the warmer months. I called the office and they basically told me it's not their problem and that I should call the police. On another occasion someone ran into the back of my car while it was parked in our parking spot then took off. The total cost to fix all the damage was around $1000. The response from the office was the same, "it's not our problem, call the police". A couple nights ago while we were moving out, my husband and I parked our cars infront of our apartment door to pack up our stuff. Within ten minutes there was a knock on our door. It was someone from the complex. In a very rude and disgusting manner he told us to move our cars off the grass. Now consider that it's the middle of winter (February) and the grass is all brown and patchy. It's not like we parked on anything close to a beautiful lawn. The biggest thing that struck me about this incident is that on the two occasions that my car was damaged they didn't give a damn but within minutes of parking on their dirty, brown grass they were at our front door telling us to move our car. I guess this tells you what's important to them.
Overall I would not recommend this complex to anyone because it's overpriced (our rent for a two bedroom went from $1100 to $1210 in 9 months), management sucks, and there are a lot of teenagers on the complex that you will have to deal with during the warmer months.
Finally, some of the positive reviews about this complex sound like they were written by the people that work in the office. I was reading a couple of them and they sounded more like ads. Be careful.

FYI, The issues with your cars will happen here or in any other complex, In PA apartment complex's are not bound by law to take care of your properties outside the apartment (parking lot or surrounding areas) you have to deal with the police directly. Good luck in your new place!!

FYI, Bucks Landing (just up the street from Jefferson) is a crappier apartment complex than Jefferson on the Creek and they have security that patrols the parking lot at night
