I've been here for one year. I've never had a problem with management or with maintanence for that matter. The rent is steep. For the price, you should at least get stainless steel appliances and much better insulated windows and patio doors, oh yeah........and a fitness room.
Its been said that there isn't a fitness room due to building code difficulties. Sounds like a bunch of bs. Parking is fine, till your neighbors friend parks in your spot, it is reltively quite. They just replaced the playground last year, but its quit small and there are always teenagers milling around. They dont seem to cause any problems, there just isn't much for them to do around here. The apartments themselves are old, the stairs and upstairs hallways creek when walked upon. The washer and dryers vary apartment to apartment, some are stackable in the hallway closet and some are full size side by side in the bathroom. A huge plus is that the entire complex wired for veriZon fios tv and Internet, and it blows comcast away in terms of price and quality. The area of the complex is great, shopping, schools, train and bus are all with 1-5 minutes away. About project transition, I see the participant everyday and never had a problem with any, even though there is one who says "hi" loudly to any kid that he walks by. There's been talk that one tried to invite one child into his apartment, but I dont know of any truth to that. The grounds of the property are well maintained. Total turf is out here about twice a week all day cutting grass.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna renew my lease, cuz I've seen to other properties that cost the same and the features are WAY BETTER, full basment, stainless steel appliances and much more and its 1 mile east on street road. But if you want move here, you should like it. Just see ALL of the available apartments of the type you want and make sure your neighbor is not in project transition, you might not be very comfortable with that. And if you are getting a 3 bedroom apartment, take not that the 2 bathrom 3 bedroom has 2 small rooms and a small closets, the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom has a huge walking closet in the master bedroom, you get use of the utiliy closet, the living room and all 3 bedrooms are bigger and your rear patio is closed off. This may be a good or bad thing for you. Its good if you have a dog or child because they can play out there without fear of running into the street, bad if you want direct access to the common grounds in the back.
