Great Location provides this building with potential. But, potential has not been recognized because of the slumlord landlord mentality. Landlord does not provide for basic upkeep.

The units are big, nice with hardwood floors, and brick walls. BUT, floors / walls are 1950's thin. You can and will hear everything and I mean everything.

Washer and dryers are 20 years old and break often. This is perplexing since the landlord / management could have them replaced at no / little cost since the laundry service actually pays the landlord a fee. Oh well..

Common areas: hallways, basement, landscaping are all below subpar.

This the troubling thing. Most of the complaints could be rectified with basic cleaning and basic property management along with the landlords permission to perform basic small fixes. Obviously, the landlord opts to the slum side and prefers to suck every ounce out of this building rather than invest for the future.

Overall Rating: It's a balancing act of...great location, nice layout of unit against...noise leveal and unapproachable property management / landlord who is slummy.
