1) Despite multiple requests for maintenance, my oven remained broken for 5 years and my ceiling fan for 2-3 years. I only tolerated this inadequate service because I had a toaster oven and air conditioning. 2) The paint quickly flaked off of walls and the window sills and cracks developed in the walls. There was moisture/condensation between the window panes blocking the view. 3) S.W. Bajus Ltd unnecessarily and inconveniently requires residents of Kingsway Building to fully empty both their kitchen and bathroom cabinets 1-2 times a year for "pest spray" or be charged a fine. 4) When walking by front doors of apartments, you can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING. 5) The real kicker was after living there for 5 years with cats, they deducted from my security deposit a $125 fee for not professionally cleaning my carpet when it was obvious the carpet should be replaced. It was discolored from sun, had impressions of furniture, was badly fraying near the front door due to lack of tacking, and had some minor snags. I called the leasing office in shock and was told that the carpet was NOT replaced. Thus, the next tenant, who hopefully is not allergic to cats, will pay $975 to live in a "newly renovated" apartment with well worn carpet. Or, the carpet was replaced and I was gypped for a service that never occurred.
