I am a very critical renter and I rate every place I've lived so the fact that I am giving RC a good rating actually means a lot.

Pros:
1) staff to be friendly and responsive on the whole
2) great apt size
3) beautiful kitchen counters & appliances
4) no problems with theft (incl pkgs) or feelings of insecurity at the complex
5) Genuardi's and MicroCenter, as well as the P.O., are walkable

Cons:
1) uncovered parking is too limited, but it does vary with building (too much covered parking with too high rates is the cause as I see it)
2) arrangement of outlets in my apt (I agree with the other reviewer; very odd placement and the cable guy had to run a wire from the living room to the bedroom!)
3) noise from upstairs neighbor

I'd have to say the noise is my biggest issue, but it seems I can never live under people who don't stomp when they walk and don't blast music. I don't complain because it certainly isn't constant, but I do believe it's avoidable in this case.

I've lived in 6 apartments in 7 years and 3 of those I left due to noise and bad management so this is quite refreshing. Wayne is a very nice area.
