I had to rent a place from out of country, without first visiting it... A BIG mistake... The managers were nice exactly until the point that I signed the lease. Since that moment I have been treated like an annoyance. The apt. at move in was mostly clean, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke -- months later, that smell is still not completely gone. All of the appliances are old. The fridge is loud and finicky, the dish-washer has rusted out parts that the apt manager told me was my responsibility to change out. The gas stove is actually nice b/c it is old -- huge flames when you need them. The AC is a never-cleaned, loud, vibrating electricity-guzzler that does not exactly cool -- unless you count the cold sweat you feel when you get a $300 electricity bill after using it on and off for a month. One of the sinks was clogged upon move in -- sadly this is a recurrent problem with all the drains, something that is probably due to the shoddy workmanship and cheapest possible units that were installed.
In the fall the mice came in through the gas hook-up holes behind the stove... I actually felt bad for complaining about them because the pest control people put MASSIVE amounts of poison everywhere -- inside the apt, in the building, underneath fake plastic rocks around the parking lot. Instead of killing innocent creatures outside, why not seal the apt so they can't get in' Anyway. Don't expect to see chipmunks in the woods outside the place...
The two things that the apt managers splurge on are Pest control and grounds upkeep. Somehow these two activities are tightly interconnected. Any time of year there are teams of men spraying (grass/dirt/sidewalks), mowing and tilling (nothing is safe) and blowing around (dust, leaves, dirt) in order beautify and protect us from grubs, mites, and who knows what else (ungrateful tenants'). I would not mind so much if it weren't stinky, loud and blatantly poisonous...
All of these (plus thin walls, overflowing garbage bins, strange smells in the hallways, lack of parking) do not add up to an awful experience. They are actually quite on par with the regular rental experience on the main line. What sets this place apart is the price. It is overpriced. Sadly. Hugely overpriced.

I am moving out.
P.S. Browser bug not allowing me to change the number of stars. I am not giving anything about this place more than 2 stars.
