We moved into a two bedroom at Radnor Crossing to get closer to our jobs, while the rent is still really high compared to Devon or West Chester, we were hoping that higher rent would filter out some of the common annoyances found in cheap rental apartments. Boy were we wrong. There is nothing classy about this place. The best is the maintenance guy that actually lives at the apartment complex. He constantly has trash and junk sitting out on his porch and his kids run rampant on the property.
The management works against you, not with you. We have had multiple problems with the management and have often had to pay for their inabilities. We have often tried escalating issues to upper management hoping that someone in the Scully company knows how to be professional, but we have learned that bad management rolls downhill at Radnor Crossing.
The parking here is a mess. Some students park in spaces up front and leave their vehicles here for months. Never mind the fact that there is often ample parking in the back, why take up some of the more coveted parking near the front of the buildings. People park wherever they like, often choosing corners that have no markings or right in front of the dumpsters.
Its funny that some of the other posts mention the attention to the groundskeeping. I hadnt really thought about it until I read the posts. But its very true. If you plan on sleeping past 7am, I hope you enjoy ear plugs.
The problem with renting on the main line is that there are no newer developments. This one at least put a little effort into doing some current remodeling. However, you can't sugar coat a turd.
Unfortunately we cant offer a renting solution, there really arent too many choices in the Wayne area that at least attempted to update. But if you have some other areas to look at for living arrangements, definitely consider them before you move to Radnor Crossing.
Fortunately for us, we are relocating to another state.

Im not sure how long you have lived in the Wayne area, but the first thing you will probably notice is the lack of apartment complexes that are remotely updated. And while I wouldnt consider Radnor Crossing to be cutting edge, they at least made an effort with appliances and the kitchen. Its not like there is an abundance of affordable inventory waiting to get snatched up.
The second thing to note, is that longevity is not a metric of quality. The time period that we rented was during the real estate boom and it was very unfeasible for us to purchase a home. So while I did rent there for 4 years, it still wasnt an overall satisfying experience. I expected a lot more for the money I paid.
So I stand by my ratings, and I hope you are having a completely opposite experience then I did.
