i am a grad student and i have lived here for about two months now and i can tell you that i have enjoyed it very much. it has the old farm house style that i personally love. yes, the apartments are small, but i get more of a cozy feeling from it. the kitchen's are way small, however that is only because this was once an old mansion/house that has been changed into 17 apt. the kitchen is in an old closet! i kind of think that is interesting. it isn't suitable for doing a ton of cooking or a lot of entertaining, but it suits fine enough. i haven't had any unusual troubles with bugs. it's an old house, so there are occasional spiders and such, but that is to be expected. the management has always been kind and very good about taking care of any problems that came up. the rent does seem high, but the area itself (wayne and the mainline of philly) is an expensive area, so it's not really out of line. it's actually one of the cheaper decent places i found around here. anything cheaper was dirty and, in my opinion, not livable. parking is nice for me as there is one spot for each apt and i am the only one in my apt. it would probably present a problem for a 2 bedroom since it would need to be determined who gets the parking spot.

long story short, i wouldn't choose this for my permanent home, but its nice enough for the next few years or so. i recommend it.
