I've lived here at Cambridge Hall for about 12 years, give or take. Sure, there are some restrictions, but this is apartment living and you have to expect that. Overall it's the closest thing to home that I've found and I've been living in apartments for the last 30 years.
The buildings are well-maintained, with regular cleaning, painting and carpeting. The staff is prompt, couteous and efficient. The grounds are well maintained and really very pretty in the spring and summer.
I have never felt that I had to be appologetic when bringing someone to my home and that says alot.
In all of the years here, I have never had an instance, nor have I known anyone who has had an instance where either the management or the maintenance staff entered someone's apartment without notice or their knowledge, spreaded gossip about them, charged them unfairly for anything or spied on them.
There are over 225 apartments here. No one can please everyone all of the time, but we have some pretty long-term residents here who I'm sure are planning to be here for a long time to come. I am one of them and happy to be here.
So, my advice to you, reading this review, is to "come on home". It's peaceful, safe, quiet and about as much like home as you're going to find this side of a mortgage.
