I've been a resident at Forest Manor Apartments in West Chester, PA, for about 2 years. Initially, there was nothing remarkable about the place; the buildings are older, and subject to the same kinds of problems that any older building would be. The previous management company was unremarkable, too. It was very difficult to get much response to complaints of most varieties, and if that's added to the high turnover in superintendents and maintenance personnel, the result is a pretty miserable place to live.
However, there has been a marked improvement in the quickness and quality of the management's responses since the management and ownership has changed. I'm very comfortable here since the change. Making rent payments has become more convenient, building security is improved from what it had been, and the general atmosphere is much more congenial.
The environs are a quiet residential neighborhood, set off of a busy thoroughfare, near to a newer shopping center that including a Giant grocery store, and a short walk from downtown West Chester,
