We?ve rented for 3 years (in two different 2nd floor apts) and here is a walk through of the ghetto.



Walking in: Doggie trash can is ALWAYS overflowing...bags of poop on the gound and the wind blows the bags around.

Door intercom system: Has never worked at either apt EVER. If you want delivery you have to jimmy the door or give the door code out to everyone..belive everything because we?ve been here for 3 YEARS!

Common area walk-in: OLD DIRTY 60?s GREEN CARPET.

Apt Door: same as your bathroom door except with a lock.(Flimsey!!!). You could easily kick it down. Easy for robbery. NOT SAFE!

Apt: Built in 1950?s...no central air only wall ac units, stucco walls.

We have to use drain-o every month on the tub and two sinks. The plumming is absolutely horrible. The water is SCOLDING HOT and I am suprised they haven?t been sued yet.

The kitchen is tiny and extremely limited counter space and storage. We had to go to IKEA to get more cabinet space. ANd we don?t have a lot because we are newly weds!

Lighting is terrible. We also went to IKEA and bought a ceiling light because there is no light over the dining area (wyntre brook has a chandelier over the dining area). We also have a light switch in the bedroom which only works for the living room. If you turn it off no electronics will work in the living room. Our living room phone is wired extremely poorly. It didn't work until I rewired to match the bedroom phone jack in both apts. Now isn't that ghetto'

We are moving to Wyntre Brook on Phoenixville Pike. Here is some more reasons why:

There is only a one-time pet fee at WB of $300 non-refund. At Golf Club there is $150 non-refund plus a $25/month fee for each dog/cat on top of the rent!

If you want a wc/dr it will cost you $50/month on top of rent. But at WB every apt has a wc/dr and the rent is still less!

At WB every apt has a private entrance, but at GC you share one entrance for 6 apts. Anyone can hear you come and go and can know about your schedule...it?s kind of scary.

The interior at WB is more up to date and costs less than GC.

The lease is impossible to break at GC(two months notice and two months rent when you leave). At WB it?s one months rent and no mandatory notice.

Security deposit at GC $500, WB $200
Rent at GC $930 at WB $885.



So overall Golf Club Sucks and is Ghetto so please don?t make the same mistake we did.
