JUST SAY NO!! (ROACH INFESTATION)

The apartment I rented at Golf Club Apartments is by far the worst apartment I have ever had. The office staff appears nice and friendly but they are somewhat imcompetent, as is the maintenance staff.
Problem #1: Upon moving in, I noticed some weird brown goo in all of the kitchen cabinets. This goo would not come off. Three months later, the roaches came. (AND NEVER LEFT - I have lived here 18 months) Apparently, the brown goo is roach bait. I was never forewarned about this problem. I REPEATEDLY asked the office to have the exterminator (with whom the community has a contract) come to my apt on a regular monthly basis to treat this very serious issue. I was always told that they will have him come out every 4 weeks. I believe he came once without me having to call and complain. I do not blaim the exterminator's company - the problem is that the office staff neglected to put me on his list of apartments to treat. They neglected to do this for an entire year, in spite of the fact that I called each month when the roaches came back.
Problem #2: We are constantly having problems with the water. At least 7 or 8 times, we have been completely without water - and for HOURS at a time.
I had several more problems and I could probably fill up an entire book with the terrible experiences I have had with this place, but I feel that I have already written enough.
Point of the story: STAY AWAY from Golf Club Apts.
