This place isnt "home" but it's worth my rent. There seems to be a lot of spiders around, but it's not too bad. The hallways smell funny, almost moldy, and they could stand to make the main entry ways a little safer with locks on the doors or something that only the tennants can get into. Other than that safety wise the apartments seem pretty safe for a single mom and a young child. My kiddo has her own "room" in the den - a "den" made by basically a divided wall in the bedroom...but for someone who just got her first "big kid bed" it gives her (and me) the privacy we both need with the security blanket of mommy being easily accessable throughout the night.
The neighbors here are very nice too. I had an older couple make me some kind of tuna creation, brownies and chocolate pudding for the kiddo the first week we were there and everyone else I've seen always smiles and says hi.
The parking on the end units or in the cul-de-sac kind of areas can be disasterous after 6pm when everyone returns home, but no biggie there...except when it's raining.
The maintenance takes a little longer then they say they will take.
It's very convenient to have a washer/dryer in the unit for just $30 more a month, especially with a toddler and the closets are immense, the little one loves hiding in them and I even playing in them for extended periods of time. The kitchen stove is a little tricky sometimes, but otherwise wonderful, open and convenient.
Overall a good place, the office ladies though, they are very helpful but they seem cranky sometimes and dont really seem to actually WANT to be there working and helping you. More like "just a job" attitude than "I love my career"...you know'
