Buy a house, you'll save money

As a happy new home owner I'll just advise
don't waste your money here! The rents are outrageous, and go up every year. They are definetly not worth the price. My mortgage is less than my rent was, with two more rooms, a real kitchen, NO BUGS, more storage and a full basement and a big yard. In a house there is no noise and you don't have to wonder if your nieghbors hear your every word with the paper thin walls and cielings. That is also where you will lose most of your money with your heat/ac out of the paper thin thirty year old windows. Prepare to be cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer. The fitness center costs 5.00 a month, which is not to bad, but the equipment is old and does not work 3/4 of the time. The tennis courts are a joke with the lights barely working, the paving collapsing in and the net falling down. The pool is not too bad at 50.00 but sometimes it's not open due to lifeguards not showing up and when they do they just sun themselves and fall asleep in their chairs. So bring some beer and some friends with you the lifegaurds don't even know who's there. The pool is generally clean and clear but 2004 it looked like a swamp for more than a month!
The pool looked great for many years with good lifegaurds, BBQ, and a nice relaxing atmosphere. But in 2000 the operations manager took it over and the pool has sucked since then. The nature trail is the best deal at $0, but you need to bring a machete to hack your way through. Be careful not to get lost. The hospitality suite is a rip off for 50.00 a night, there is no phone, no cable, and beware of the trash picked furniture. I almost forgot of the cleaning deposit, at least in a hotel you don't have to clean up everything and do the laundry.
The grounds are going down hill and so are the leasing standards. Don't believe the sign they are not luxury rentals, unless your used to living in a cardboard box. I thought this was West Chester but it seems more and more like Chester.
The mail boxes were nice and convienient near every building until some idiot thought of the idea of putting them into two inconvienient gazebos. Watch out in inclement weather or you'll fall on your ass they are VERY SLIPPERY!!!
You can also ignore the NO PETS rule, everyone else does. Cats, dogs, birds, fish snakes, and a few other furry creatures!
Snow removal used to be good, until a year ago. Bring a good shovel and studded snow tires.
So check the mortgage rates and don't give this overpriced place any of your hard earned money. And if you already live there don't forget to give your 90 day notice and get out before your rent goes up again!
