I have been living at Goshen Terrace for about a year, and I absolutely love living here. The location could not be more convinient, the property is kept beautiful at all times, and my apartment itself is wonderful...I have a brand new executive apartment that has a gas fireplace, a glass top stove, a full size refrigerator with an ice maker/water dispenser in the freezer door, stark white carpeting, molding, huge closets with mirrored sliding doors, etc...I always love coming home, and I am happy to be spending a little extra each month to have these luxuries.
I have never had any major problems with my apartment, however, I did call maintenace twice to address very minor issues. The maintenance manager was extremely eager to help me, and sent a maintenace staff member right over to my apartment to solve the problem. In general, the maintenace staff here is far superior to any other community I have lived in. Not only do they do an excellent job, but they always do it with a smile. It is obvious that they take a lot of pride in doing such good work.
I think that the leasing staff is also far superior to anywhere else I have ever lived. They truly do care about keeping all of their tenants happy, and they do everything in their power to maintain happy tenants. It is completely impossible to please every single tenant while following the rules that are in place for a reason. Some tenants will not be happy regardless of where they live, and it is unfortunate that they have to take their moodiness out on such nice people.
In regards to the fire that everyone is still talking about even though it happened months ago....yes, it was very scary, and we are all extremely lucky that no one was injured that night. Fires happen. It can happen at the move theater, at the house you own, at a hospital, etc... That's why we have renters insurance. I know for a fact that investigations are still being done on the actual cause of the fire. It is illegal for Goshen Terrace to release any information on the cause of the fire until the fire department is 100% sure.
Coming from someone who has lived in many different apartment complexes before moving here, my piece of advice to anyone that reads these messages posted here: don't take all of them seriously...The majority of people only take the time to spread negative feedback. Because picking out your home is a big deal, take the time to gather some unbiased information. There are plenty of resources that can provide you with unbiased feedback of apartment complexes.
In my opinion, I do not feel that you can make a mistake choosing Goshen Terrace. Not only are there people that have been living here for over 20 years, there are many employees of the management company that have been working for the company for over 20 years. The management company obviously does something right to maintain such dedicated employees, and I feel that it reflects in the majority of the tenant's living experience. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
