I have been living in Goshen Terrace for a little over 2 years now. I am in a 2 bed/ 2 bath apartment. I read from other reviews that the biggest concern about the complex is that heat is only payable to Goshen Terrace Mgmt. THIS IS NOT TRUE!

I have been paying my heat bill directly to PECO since the first month that I moved here. A buddy of mine recently moved into the complex, and he complained about the same heat issue that is in the other comments (he paid $100 for one week!), I told him to call PECO, he did, and his next month's combined heat/electricity bill was $130.

Here are some of the pros and the cons of the complex other than heat:

Pros:
- Big aparments (at least 2/2 ones)
- Nice layout
- Lots of closet space
- Lots of parking
- Responsive maintenance (my heat broke 10pm on a very cold February night, and the maintenance came out in 10 mins and fixed the issue in 20 mins)
- Nice office (the office people are nice if you are polite to them)
- Quiet. This complex is the quietest I've ever been in. I actually witnessed only one party in 2 years, it is usually so quiet you can hear other people cough if you have your window open.

Cons:
- Terrible insulation: My windows were letting thru so much cold air that I actually had to cover them with transparent trash bags over the winter time. They really need to change all their windows/sliding doors.
- Thin walls and you can hear people walking around if you live on the 1st floor.
- Snow removal is not the best, usually the complex is covered in snow an extra 2-3 days after a major storm.

Overall, I think this is a good apartment complex if you like it quiet, but there are certainly a lot better places out there.
