For the past few months, I have noticed an old rusted Chevy truck (broken glass, open windows and NO VALID STATE INSPECTION). This old junker is parked in front of the "B" on the main access road through the complex and does nothing but detracts from this community. While the old junker has a valid parking permit, its presence on the property is in violation of the terms of the lease issued by this community.

It would appear that the management of the complex is blind to this eye sore, and has failed to enforce it's own parking rules. The lease is very specific about the use of parking, and what type/s of vehicles that may be on the complex property. See attachment A item 4 re: parking. "All vehicles parked on the property must be inspected,, licenced, insured and in good working order" In other word this vehicle is (and has been for months) illegally parked and subject to being towed without warning.

So one must ask the question, "Why is the old junker allowed to be on the property"' Is the management not following it's own rules by having this junker removed, or are there exceptions to the enforcement of the parking rules. Clearly the rules intend that therules be applied to "all" not just some.

Umm....the guy drives the truck. Its his transportation. Who are you to say that its an eye sore? I for one am a fan of that style/year of classic truck. Yes his is sort of rough, but so what. Its not sitting on blocks or with flat tires. Here is a reality check...does it have antique tags? If so, it doesnt require inspection or emissions. Rules are very different for vehicles over a certain age. That problem is sort of trival compared to some of the other issues in the complex.
