I have recently read two comments posted by residents who expressed negative opinions about this wonderful community that I call home. I must say that I haved lived here for three years now, and I have loved and enjoyed every minute of it!

To the person who complained about the parking permit situation: you must be nuts! The fact that this caring community enforces the parking permits is FANTASTIC!! Before this parking permit enforcement was implemented, I cannot even begin to tell you how may times I had to park very far away from my own apartment because guests were taking the residents parking spots! Imagine walking in the pouring rain with your hands and arms full of groceries! Not fun!! I would like to personally thank Halstead for enforcing this. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and concern for their tenants! How hard is it to put a parking sticker on your car' It takes about five seconds, then you never have to give it a second thought!

To the person who complained about their rent check bouncing: I would really recommend checking your own bank account on a regular basis. I check my own bank account every single day and if there ever was a problem I would notice within 24 hours. When it comes to something as important as paying rent, you need to follow up to make sure your check was cashed with no problems. I actually get a bank check from my bank each month to pay my rent. This way I KNOW it's good! And the beauty of doing that is that I don't have to wait for my own personal check to be cashed. It's taken out of my account immediately when they cut the bank check for me. And I find it hard to believe that anyone was rude to you. They need to be paid, and you need to understand that. When you signed your lease agreement, it clearly stated in there when rent is due and what the grace period is. It's hard for me to feel bad for you when it was your responsibility in the first place.

Overall, living in this great community has been a pleasure! The management is so great, and they really make you feel appreciated! When I see them out and about within Halstead, they know my name and ask how I am doing. That really means a lot to me! I am not just a number in a book or a name on a list. I would absolutely recommend this community to everyone! It is in such a great location which is close to EVERYTHING!!! I absolutely love living here!!!! : )
