I have never written a review on this site, but I have enjoyed the comic relief that other postings have provided!! I am COMPLETELY AMAZED and BAFFLED BY THE TOTAL LACK OF COMMON SENSE exhibited by the average person. "I only saw the model, parking permits, renter's insurance, bounced checks" .... are the authors of these postings serious'!' Why would you rent an apt. you didn't see' HELLO!! There have to be at least 10 apts. here in W. Chester .... why not just pick a place that showed you the apt.' Almost everywhere enforces a parking policy (work, school, HOA). I have NEVER lived anywhere that did not require renter's insurance, and rent'!' You sign a lease, you agree to pay rent. I have never read a lease for an apt., car, furniture, ANYTHING, that said "pay rent IF you can, WHEN you can." Pay your rent, put the sticker in your car, pay the whopping 10 bucks/month or whatever it costs for renter's insurance and get over it!! I have never had a problem at Halstead or anywhere else that I have lived. Then again, I'm not a TOTAL IDIOT, so I pay my rent by the 5th when it's due .... I make sure there's $$$ in my account when I write the check, I keep the little sticker in my car (even though it's oh so difficult), and I have renter's insurance. [BTW to the renter's insurance person - I don't know where you live now, but if you don't have a spare $100/YEAR, you probably shouldn't move to W. Chester, PA!! Just a thought!] I guess now all that's left to do is cross my fingers and hope that my neighbors don't move out ... I would hate to think that my future neighbor wrote one of these postings!!
