There may be some truth to the negative comments posted here, but whether you have an apartment or a house, you can't really choose your neighbors. Besides, these are apartments, not private estates. You will hear your neighbors from time to time no matter what. The staff was very friendly, helpful and was always prompt to answer my questions or problems. They were even very tolerant of my own occasional transgressions. I was very pleased with my three years at Wyntre Brooke.

The location is ideal for the Philadelphia area since you are so close to Route 202 and a couple of smaller roads that are good back roads for avoiding 202. The interiors looked great and the kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities were updated and worked fine. The few repairs needed were prompt. These are really ideal for single people and young couples rather than families with younger kids since (surprise) some of the younger people throw parties in their apartments on weekends.

At times you will feel you don't have a whole lot of privacy because you are so close together, because (surprise again) they're apartments. My neighbors were relatively quiet, not too noisy and not at all nosy, so I had no problems with any of them. I frequently heard the couple upstairs going at it at night, which might actually be a selling point with some people, but turning on the TV or doing laundry was enough to drown out any small noises.

Considering the horror stories I have from some of my friends for apartments in and around West Chester, this is by far your best bet unless you can find some sweetheart deal renting in a private home in a quiet part of town (not likely).
