This is the 2nd apartment we have ever lived in and let me tell you, life really sucks since moving here. The other review is right where they said your car gets vandalized. It looks like there is soda poured all over my car now. After 4pm here its a jungle outside with the kids. The kids run out in front of your car, no parental supervision. Kids scream obscenities constantly outside, we have had to call the cops several times. They will not let you enter in the door so if you have to buy groceries, be prepared to carry the heavy bags about a mile through the building and through about 8 different doors. Our crappy ceiling is caving in. Our bathroon ceiling started leaking water back in December and apparently this is not an emergency to them. It to date has still not been fixed. Maintenance is not on top of it. The ladies who work in the office are complete ------- and do not care about anyone who lives here!!They just want your money and thats all they care about. Mice have run loose throughout the apartment this winter. The staff does not care about this at all. We have had to go out and buy lots of mouse traps to take care of this. I am still scared to walk around barefoot in here. The so called "modern" kitchens are not modern at all. The cabinets are all greasy and look like they are from the 70's. The halls are constantly littered with trash. It may look nice when they give you a tour, but let me tell you that the apartment they show you looks nothing like the one you will actually get. The kitchen it totally different in the model apartment. And in the model apartment we were so happy to see that there was no popcorn paint in the ceilings. But when we got our apartment, there was the popcorn paint to make it look more cheap. Plus on our first night here, there was a huge silverfish on the ceiling. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

I totally agree! We moved in a few years ago, when there was a pool. Once the new management took over, a day or two before memorial day they sent a notice that the pool would be closed sorry for any inconvenience, go to the city pools! (90 bucks). It never opened again, and this was after signing a new paper for the pool passes, etc. Or u could use their 'other pool' in their 'luxury apts. for 400 bucks for 2 months in the summer! (U can get that at LA Fitness or Ballys for a 2 year contract!)Their new 'landscaping' which was supposed to go through the whole complex ended up being a few flowers around their sign! The maintainence is overworked for a huge building, and spread among their luxury buildings and guess who gets work done first?! Out of all the doors only 4 were made to come in with the new 'electronic' keys, and the other locks sealed with cement! When there was a power failure, there was no way to get in and no lights for emergencies! Handicapped accessable? HAH! If you come in through the parking lot, and are handicapped, u can take the back elevator, but don't be sure, since if you go the other way in the building u still have to go up stairs! Car has been vandalized. Old staff was great, new staff, don't bother! They also made 'agreements' which didn't hold water! When there were any problems you were told just to come and let them know and it would be fine, not anymore. Now they evict without warning, and it seems in PA in Whitehall, this is legal. Families are constantly in and out, and the residents who were there from years ago, are waiting for leases to be up so they can move. It used to be a nice place, since the new owners, its a slum! Do NOT trust this company! I also heard they are buying another building for 'luxury apts', so they are downsizing this one to dump. Years ago, it would have gotten very good marks, now, its run by a corporation that if your not paying a grand to live there, your not worth the time. And its overrun with mice! It is also no longer safe. They may do 'criminal checks' but there are alot of 'juviniles' who are criminals and they are all over the place at all hours! They tell people, 'sorry, nothing we can do'. your afraid to come home at night and that was going in the front door! God forbid you have to get into the house fast, your screwed! And their reps tell you one thing, then the company does another. Beware of this company!

All of the above information is totally correct. But they forgot to mention one thing. When we moved in here we did not know that children are not welcome. We have a young child and Lehigh Valley Apartmetns "staff" was so kind to put a notice under our door. Apparently the neighbor who lives below us and works night shift. Says that we "stomp around at all hours of the day and night". Well folks, the walls around here are no where near soundproof. I can actually hear when the neighbor above us drops a bar of soap in their shower. I guess I am supposed to keep my child chained in a chair all day so she can't move around or play. Our neighbors bedroom is right below our living room (who the hell designed the floor layouts around here)so of course she is going to hear us walking around all day. This is the most used room in our apartment. And geez you would think that they would think things through in the rental office before putting a lady that works night shift below an apartment with a family that is up during the day. Watch your car in the parking lot, the friendly neighborhood children like to spill sodas and sho the hell knows what all over the cars.
