I have no idea where these other reviewers lived, or maybe they have never rented before, but Spring Ridge is certainly not what they claim to be. There are many complexes in this area, so do yourself a favor and look around before you commit to this complex of lies, RACISM, and deception!
1st off is your security deposit. Kiss it before you give it because you WILL NOT see the entire amount again! They require you to have the carpets professionally cleaned or they will charge you $100....NO MATTER THE CONDITION! ANd dont let them tell you they replace the carpets every time a new tennant rents as they told me because it's --------!
2nd is that the complex is directly over the landing lane of an airport, so the noise is ludicrious.
3rd is the construction. All that annual increase they pocket instead of replacing their 35 yr old windows. Not only will your heating bill be 200 a month in the winter(and very high in the summer) but the noise from landing aircraft comes right through.
4th the property manager, Connie, is a pure and complete RACIST!!! Spring Ridge claims to be a family community, but she does not prefer minorities at all. Not only did I hear her directly on making comments towards ------- Americans(how they usually didnt pay their rent on time, ect...) but she insisted on refering to my wife as "your spanish wife". SHe even threatened me with a sharp pen as she rasied her voice to me.Just ASK ANYONE WHO LIVES OR LIVED AT SPRING RIDGE ABOUT CONNIE. THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW DIFFICULT SHE IS. EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH HER DONT LIKE HER.
Be careful with this deceptive complex. They dont mow the lawn on time....they take too long to answer maintenence calls, and they are racists. And dont let that lady who will go over your contract with you fool you. She will tell you so much, but completely opposite to whats in the contract.
They are a disgrace and the Whitehall Chamber of Commerce is receiving many comlaints about them.

I agree...I left out Connie from my rating. She is a dismissive, condescending, and arrogant. I don't know about the racial stuff. She defended the Indian folks in my building when they stink up the place with some of their food in winter when windows/doors can't be opened. She would not take my complaint seriously. Even when I'd get an allergic reaction to the spice in the air. Also, I had a nightmare the one night that a plane crashed into my apartment. They fly right over head. If you seen that Simpsons episode when Homer is jumping up and down on his roof waving a broom and yelling "get out of my air space" at the passing planes, that is what it's like. Just to be fair. maintenance has been great for me.

Connie is no longer there. As for airplanes, guess what? ALL of whitehall has the same problem. I lived close to the airport in whitehall and about 10 minutes from it, so I know what thats like. If you don't want airplanes, u better move out of the allentown, whitehall, bethlehem, areas completely.
