If you decide to stay here, be very careful. Your verbal statement to this company means nothing. If you re currently staying here, I would recommend that you get everything you do or request in writing. I mean everything you do. A sign letters should accompany all renewal, extension and request to fix an item. You should request a receipt whenever they fix something. Get everything that s broken fix before you leave. You should also request a walk through when leaving the property. This will save thousands of dollars when you leave. Be very careful of their extension. Verbal statements from residents and/or staff are NOT binding. I agree - everything you request should be in writing - as stated in the Lease. A copy of the work order is left in the apartment, usually on a table, when the technician completes the request. Again, every resident receives a move-out checklist when they give notice to vacate which details what should be done to receive the full security deposit back. If you broke something, you should fix it. Residents are responsible for damages due to abuse and/or neglect. I also agree that residents should request a walk through with the manager at least 48 hours prior to returning the keys. Our renewal offers are accompanied by a thorough set of instructions (available for review at the Leasing Office) on renewing, vacating, or extending.
