I can't believe these bogous reviews and that everyone of them is Anonymous!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005
I've been living at Cedarbrook Hill/Trilogy for the past 3 years and I've just renewed my lease for a 4th year. A friend of mine knows how much I luh-uh-uhv my apartment and was looking to move here herself. Then, she was made aware of this ratings site and took a look at the reviews. She was a little freaked out about the bad reviews and asked me about their validity. I said (and still say) emphatically, "NO WAY, what are these people smoking''' I've had nothing short of an amazing life here and I plan to remain for at least the next several years." I am an educator (4th grade), single and in my middle 30s. Yes, the past year has been challenging because ownership has clearly taken great pains to improve the community. Construction is never easy. My father is in the construction business -- noise, dirt, inconvenience...it's all a part of the SHORT-TERM gig. But, its' sooo worth the short-term "pain" for the long-term gain! And the Trilogy efforts are clearly paying off. Trilogy is even more FANTASTIC today than when I moved in several years ago. I'm seeing more and more people moving into Trilogy (particularly noticing more renters around my age). I'm making some new friends which I've never done in any of the other apartment complexes I've lived in before (really cute guys too) and we're hanging out at the new restaurant, PLATE. WAY COOL! And the bartenders are HOT!!! But I digress. Anyway...Based on all the new trees/shrubs they are planting and the new guardhouse with security system, it doesn't seem as though the owners are letting up on the improvements. I say, ROCK ON!!! As an attractive fairly young woman, I feel very secure here and that's a big deal to me. I can get over a little noise every now and again knowing that there aren't weirdos lurking in the bushes. Also, my rent is reasonable with increases each year in the 2-4% range (it depended on the year). I can't complain. For everything I'm getting here at Trilogy, I feel like I'm stealing from them. Check out other apartment communities, I did, and I guarantee that dollar for dollar, you can't beat Trilogy. As for Maintenance not being responsive, again to those people who say Maintenance sucks I say, put down the crack pipes and take responsibility for yourselves. You're seemingly adult enough to sign a contract; be adult enough to pick up the phone and call in a maintenance request. Honestly, I don't think they're calling Maintenance. I think they're doing nothing and just like to sit back and hear themselves complain. All you have to do is call maintenance and it gets done. It's not rocket science, folks. Heck, if you're not around, tell them it's ok to come into your apartment. I do this all the time and I've never had any theft or breakage issues with any of the Trilogy maintenance staff or contractors. Sheila, in the Maintenance Office, is such as sweetie. She's always been so kind and helpful and I've only had one time where I had to call back to get something done. Sheila was apparently out sick the day I called and my request slipped through the cracks. Hey, it happens. But, when I called back, she was so apologetic and got on it immediately.
So, I say to anyone out there, don't listen to these boneheads. The grass is always greener. No matter where you go -- whether you rent or own -- there will always be issues. But I assure you, the issues at Trilogy are far less and minor than anywhere else I've ever lived, and the benefits FAR, FAR outweigh the detriments.
Good luck and happy apartment shopping!
