NEVER CONSIDER THIS PLACE

I have had numerous problems with this place, where to start' Well once I started moving in I noticed one of the outlets in my "newly renovated" apartment would have a power surge and go out. Then I tested the outlets and NONE OF THEM WORKED. Once I got a the electrician to fix it, which took about a week, I wanted to hook my tv up. Someone must have been on drugs during the remodel because they never wired any of my outlets OR CABLE OR PHONE LINES! I know I am not the only this happened to either because of the lady that sold me the place also said they tore threw her apartment and had to rewire all the cables for her as well. I had comcast come out three separate times to connect my tv and after two and a half weeks I finally got it working. Then the doorman must have a problem with younger people because they rudely question your existence at the towers and what you are doing. They need to be put in there place. Also people throw cigarette butts off their patio without a care in the world as to where they land ( on my patio). And to top it off after a whole week of living here I am noticing more and more spiders and roaches. This place should be condemned it is filthy. I am not looking forward to the rest of my year in this place and dislike it very much. This place is more for the elderly who can't wipe there own asses. This should be the last place on anyone's list for apartments.

I've only seen one small spider, which I quickly killed, in my seven months at the Towers. I agree that certain doormen, not all, can get an attitude with younger tenants. I had a doorman question me once when I was carrying a cable box, I guess he thought I was a Comcast guy or something, by yelling "HEY!" at me. I ignored him the first time but he did it a second time with the same attitude. I turned around and he says "Can I help you?????". I reply "Nope" and walk to the elevator. Again he goes "HEY!" to which I turned around and loudly said "RELAX! I live here!". He started to say he was sorry but I kept moving. There's no reason to yell "HEY!" at someone who pays a large rent to your employer. A "Excuse me" or a simple "Sir" would have worked.
My advise, is to call maint several times to get anything done in a timely manner and to stand up for yourself when dealing a cranky doorman.

I also have cockroaches. I really love being referred to in the leasing office as an apartment number, I do have a last name and expect to be addressed in a professional manner. I don't expect them to remember who I am, but when I come in with a problem -- review my info, call me by my first name, last name, nickname, anything; "921" is here -- how about Mrs. So & So is here from 921.

I can say the place should be condemned for being filthy and infested with roaches...I was unable to cook in my own kitchen for at least 3 to 4 months because they would get into everything i cooked or had in the cabinets..so I started ordering out..I am considering contacting license and inspection.
