If anyone could justify the way the rent works in this place, I am interested to hear about it.

If you look at Craig's list and type in the "Towers at Wyncote"(Trilogy) you will see that they have discounted the price a great deal for 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

This is great for someone out of the projects moving in, but for me who just received my lease renewal, they are trying to charge me a higher amount than the already ridiculous rent I pay.

I would like to hear a leasing agent justify how someone off of the street is held in a higher regard than someone who has been a loyal customer for a few years.

I tried to get this information a few times, but when you leave a message with the leasing office regarding something like this, apparently their natural reaction is to pretend you never called.

If you close your eyes and ignore it, I guess it just goes away on its own.

In closing, I envy the ghetto moving in these days, because they have a pretty sweet deal.

As for me and the rest of the tenants that have been here for a while, we are just out of luck I guess.

If I wanted to move into Camden, or West Philly, I would have done it!

Hahahahah!!!! That is so funny...I mean, not funny that you find yourself in this situation, but having moved out of bldg 1 in Dec 2007, this just justifies all of my reasons!! By the car out front, is that the big black truck?? Or, is there a new one? Ha!! Oh...and speaking of security cameras...that parking lot is supposed to be safe and monitored?? If that's the case, why did my brand new 2007 Honda Pilot get hit in the parking lot and know one can tell me who did it??? Is that because the cameras you say you have aren't really real, or working?? Or, maybe because you want to protect the god awful staff that works there!!! GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with your comment about the rent structure. I moved here in August and was granted the lower rent after some very heated negotiation with one of the leasing professionals. I do agree that the lower rent should be granted to loyal renters. Not to mention that the apartments are not worth what is being charged. Management is spending more money on the aesthetics of the property and trying to entice people to move in, but are not investing money in the general upkeep of the property - which is unfortunate. On a separate note, I'm sorry though that you feel as though all of the people who moved in and received a lower rent package are "ghetto" and came from the projects. Your anger should be directed toward management, as they are the ones who are overcharging and under-delivering. Making derogatory statements toward the tenants that live here won't help your situation. What could is joining forces with other tenants to discuss grievances with management and the owners of this apartment complex to try and impart some change.

I am the author of the review and this is a response to the entry dated 12/12/2008. I feel my anger should be directed at the tenants as well as the management. Although the management is to blame for the tenants, it does not change the quality of what I am currently living with. Joining forces with what is moving into the buildings would only weaken my argument. If you have recently moved in and disagree with my comments towards the tenants, then you are either ignoring the situation or are one of what I have earlier described as "ghetto" or "out of the projects".

My car has been hit two times in the parking lot and the person(s) who hit me never manned up. Also two months ago I saw a person, that I can only imagine to be homeless, pooping on the first floor wall.

I do believe that they are letting anyone move in the apartment. I am an african american woman making over 95,000 a yr and like the fact that this apartment was close to my job. I don't know if you think because a certain race moved in that's making this apartment "ghetto". But I will say that there are some older racist jewish people that live here and they do not want anyone that don't look like them living in the apartment building. If you were to see me you would never know what I do for a living, but I live alone in a 2 bed/2 bath by myself and pay a good fortune for the rent. I don't care what race you are I've seen white trash, old smelly white people who wet themselves on the elevator, young black people who don't know what to wear to the mailboxes, chinesse people who are just loud. I have seen it all. All I have to say is don't judge everyone, maybe you need to start investing in buying and not renting then you wouldn't have to worry about who is moving in your home. I know I did. Get over yourself and move on or just move out. Because it's not going to get any better!
