I am writing this review because I want others to know what type of environment they are moving into. I'm sure that many of the tenants here at Parkview Court have their stories to tell, both good and bad, however, what it boils down to is this, "Know what surroundings are conducive to the life style you are use to living", before signing a lease agreement.
Well, with that being said, I did not do my homework prior to moving into this apartment complex and I am paying a price for that now, and honestly, I am considering moving already, and I haven't been here long at all. If you are wiling to sacrifice some of the precious gifts of life, such as, quietness, sleep (at times), human kindness and friendliness, to name a few, then you could probably live at Parkview Court. However, if you are a person who loves peace and tranquility, are courteous, and considerate, then, you may want to think long and hard before moving into Parkview Court, because most of the people that I have encourtered here, are just the opposite and won't reciprocate what you are willing give.
Management should really try screening the people that they allow to rent from them a little more closely. If Parkview Court's primary focus is increasing their revenue, then they will allow any and everybody to rent from them because, most of the management reside in other locations, at least I think that they do, and they do not have to tolerate the things that the tenants here do. On the other hand, if Parkview Court's primary focus is providing a quality and 'pleasurahble' residential environment for their tenants, then they would do whatever it takes to keep out those who do not have that mindset and/or mentality.
I really don't think that management do reference and background checks on tenants, well, let me rephrase this. I think that they do credit background checks, but not the previous tenancy check. I'm sure if they did, most applicants would be denied access to Parkview Courts.
My finally thoughts are this, " Don't be in a hurry when making a deciding about where you and your family will reside, because it will cost you some of the dearest things in life".
"Get your credit together, which I will be doing, and start saving some money to purchase your own home."

I know exactly what you mean! I did not do my homework and I moved someplace I could not stand. (Not Parkview-I lived not too far from this place and it has a bad reputation locally! Sorry you had to find out the hard way!) I had crappy neighbors just like you and manangement did not do criminal or background checks on the tenants. Needless to say it was a long year, and soon as that year was up, I was gone. I lost peace of mind and sanity when I lived there. I've been gone for 8 months and could not be happier. Good Luck with your situation. I hoped it has worked itself out by now!

I live in Parkview Court now and I desperately want to move out. Yes, there are many break-ins which are done by maintanence or other staff memebers of Parkview. The office staff is rude and don't give a ---- about anything but the rent money. If it is even a day late, you are given a late fee of $40 and if it is more than 5 days late, you receive a $100 court cost fee. It is rediculous!!!! I want to move so bad, thinking about breaking the lease and moving out. My lease is up in August. I want to move NOW!!! I have just started seeing mouse droppings in my kitchen. Coming from the nasty africans next door. This place is the pits. My mom lives in public housing in Philadelphia and yet she gets better treatment than I do and she pays a lot less with a brand new 3 br house. I'd rather live in public housing. The property manager Ted Hicks is a RACIST!!! He doesn't give a ---- about us black people. He is a horrible manager. Parkview needs new management BAD!!! I plan to start a petetion very soon and send it to Ohio. I want to get as many people as I can to help get rid of management. Do not move here please!!!! You'll regret it!!!
