YOU MAY AS WELL LIVE IN THE PROJECTS WHERE IT'S CHEAPER. YOU PAY ALMOST $200 FOR HEAT OVER WINTER MONTHS. ALL THE STAFF HAS KEYS WHICH MEANS THEY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR APARTMENT. A STAFF MEMBER I KNEW SAID HIS CO WORKER WAS BRAGGING ABOUT STEALING FROM SOMEONES APARTMENT WHILE THEY WERE AT WORK. IF YOUR LATE WITH THE RENT, THEY THREATEN TO EVICT YOU PLUS TACK ON A $40 LATE FEE AND A $50 COURT FEE. IF YOU USE THE DROP BOX TO SUBMIT YOUR RENT PAYMENT, SOMETIMES THEY CONVIENTLY LOOSE IT SO THAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR A LATE FEE. THE STAFF IN THE BUSINESS OFFICE ARE GHETTO. THE PROPERTY MANAGER'S A RACIST. WHY NOT MOVE TO A GHETTO' PARKVIEW IS WORST THAN THE GHETTO!

I lived in Parkview In Yeadon and someone broke in my apt the first month I was there. It definitly was staff that work at Parkview because when I called the police they tried to make it seem like theyr broke through the window by braking off the screen and leaving the window up but they actually went through the front door and had the nerve to lock the bottom lock and not the top back up they were stupid about it....they stole jewerly and a television, dvd player.......it is a quiet place to live but beside that I wouldnt suggest you live there...they also try to say your rent is late to make money off of your late fees. i lived on patricia drive and its not trustworthy at all......

I live in Parkview Court now and I desperately want to move out. Yes, there are many break-ins which are done by maintanence or other staff memebers of Parkview. The office staff is rude and don't give a ---- about anything but the rent money. If it is even a day late, you are given a late fee of $40 and if it is more than 5 days late, you receive a $100 court cost fee. It is rediculous!!!! I want to move so bad, thinking about breaking the lease and moving out. My lease is up in August. I want to move NOW!!! I have just started seeing mouse droppings in my kitchen. Coming from the nasty africans next door. This place is the pits. My mom lives in public housing in Philadelphia and yet she gets better treatment than I do and she pays a lot less with a brand new 3 br house. I'd rather live in public housing. The property manager Ted Hicks is a RACIST!!! He doesn't give a ---- about us black people. He is a horrible manager. Parkview needs new management BAD!!! I plan to start a petetion very soon and send it to Ohio. I want to get as many people as I can to help get rid of management. Do not move here please!!!! You'll regret it!!!

I also live in Parkview. I must agree to some of the things the previous individuals noted. I have not had the unfortunate experience of someone breaking in my place (or conveniently using their key) but I have heard about the break-ins. I will say it's very important to get renter's insurance. While the office staff have not been rude towards me, I know they are not as professional as they should be. I've been here for 3 years and am getting fed up with the lack of response from the maintenance men who don't really want to do their jobs, as if we're bothering them when we need something fixed or even looked at in the apartment. The exterminator is a joke. I watched him put peanut butter on a mouse trap and stick it under my stove. I could've done that myself. I know a few people who did get cats to deal with the mouse problem. In order to live here, you have to be VERY patient. It's cute for someone who has no dependents and is fresh out of college but if you're looking for someplace to raise your children, I do not recommend it at all.
