I agree with the previous poster about things getting worse by the day. The only reason I'm still here is b/c my husband is stubborn, and we can't agree on what area we want to move to. But we DEFINITELY want out of Yeadon. It's getting really bad here.

The apartments are a decent size, but that's probably where the pros of this complex end.

The office staff isn't too bad. The person that went over our lease with us wasn't all that friendly, but I haven't had any trouble with any of them. And the older lady (I don't know any of their names) seems nice.

Nothing gets done about the mice and bugs. I have NEVER seen an exterminator. I've even had a squirrel break through my kitchen window screen and eat the bread on my kitchen counter while I was in the bath. I thought it was a mouse I heard until I peeked out the doorway from the bathroom and saw the darn thing starting right at me. I'm sure I'll end up getting charged for the screen, too, even though it wasn't my fault.

Parking is awful. Especially on Sunday, Tuesday night, and Wednesday night, or after 8 any night of the week. No one seems to know how to park. Either that or they think their little compact car is the same size as a tractor trailor. They take up 2 to 3 parking spaces and STILL end up hitting your car and scratching your bumper when parking or pulling out. And I've seen people get out of the driver's seat of their car with an OPEN bottle of beer in their hand quite a few times (747 and 749 Revere Road).

The ceiling in my living room has been leaking for a year now. I have called and complained a number of times, but nothing has been done yet.

Snow removal is awful. They do shovel the sidewalks, but that's it. You get a TON of leaves in the fall. They do hire people to remove them, but unfortunately the leaves fall too fast to keep up with them. They keep the grass neat and trimmed. However, maybe they could start AFTER 6 in the morning. I definitely don't appreciate being woken up at 6 am by weed wackers.

And the ABSOLUTE WORST part about living here is the drugs and loitering teenagers. It wasn't so bad when we first moved here, but it has gotten 100 times worse in the last year. I can't even count how many drug "hand offs" I've seen at the dumpsters. Although, I THINK the main culprit for that recently moved out. And you can't even walk up to sidewalk steps to get to your apartment at night b/c there are always a bunch of teenagers sitting on them smoking weed. They'll lean on your car like it's their own, too. One night I came home with my newborn daughter (only 2 weeks old at the time) and was sitting in our SUV trying to get my stuff together to carry in the apartment and 2 kids came over and leaned on my car and started talking WHILE I WAS STILL IN IT!!! The gas tank cover was also damaged by kids throwing footballs and stuff.

This review turned into a book b/c the more I wrote, the more I realized how bad things are getting.
