These apartments are the best value I've been able to locate in Rhode Island, period. But you need to know what you're going into. You can't rent in a low-income apartment complex and expect high-class neighbors and luxury settings. Yes, there are lots of single mothers who scream at their kids, sometimes there's music, and obnoxious rude children. But overall it's comfortable and relatively quiet, the apartments are spacious for the price and well laid-out. I find that in spite of the above (which you will find in any low-priced complex guaranteed) I've been very comfortable here and not especially disturbed by my surroundings. There are lots of stray cats around, true, but hey, what can you do. Many that appear to be strays are actually just neighborhood outdoor cats- this is one of few places that does not charge additional rent for having cats. Maintenance has always responded promptly to my requests for service, and it was easy to move in. Heat/water/hot water are included in the rent, and my one-bedroom apartment has three thermostats in it so I have plenty of temperature control, and rarely have I not had sufficient hot water. Windows are currently being replaced in many of the units, and there are lots of smoke detectors as well. Management is obviously making an effort. On-site laundry facilities exist also. They're slightly more expensive than laundromats, but that's most likely because all of the washers and dryers were just replaced with brand new, very nice ones. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG
