Lived here for about a year. The good things are that the upgrades to the appliances, cabinets, and countertops look nice. The w/d in the unit is a BIG plus if you have little ones, and extras like the business center; pool; and gym were convenient and kept up well. The bad things are that there really should be speed bumps in the parking lot. People speed into the community, like they are still on Atwood Ave. This has been suggested to management, still waiting on a response. Also, the walls are thin and if you live under someone, you will be bothered by noise when they walk around, shower, move furniture, etc.. Management is cool, haven't had a negative run in. Steve is great, very personable and friendly. That makes a great first impression. Overall, the place is quiet for the most part and reasonably priced. Great distance to Providence for someone who commutes to Massachusetts like myself.

As a former resident of Springfield Apts., I can assure you that the speed bumps are NOT coming. I suggested them in 1999.
