We were excellent tenants for numerous years, never late on rent, never had any issues and they claimed our apt was "filthy" when we left! We had a dog and 2 cats, of which we paid over $600 in a non-refundable deposit for, and they still wouldn't return any of our security, which was an additional $1650! PLUS we owe them over $300! We are a married, professional couple who simply had wear and tear that is to be expected, and a dog who as a puppy made a mess on the carpet, but we had already paid a pet deposit for those very things! We are completely shocked and extremely disappointed in this. We even paid someone $100 to come clean the place after we moved out, and still WE OWE THEM! I had read numerous reviews that warned that they never return your security deposits, but figured that wouldn't happen. I will never reccomend Springfield to anyone, nor will my spouse. The parking is also horrible. You cannot park close to your apartment as there are so many visitors that they take up the close spots and you, as a renter, have to park far from your apartment! This place is a JOKE! Do not rent here!
