i had just moved in a week ago and the carpets smell like a german shephard pissed all over the rugs. i called management to come down and check the smell but they were too busy and started questioning my dog being the one liable for the rugs to smell like that..they told me someone would come by the next day and check it out. i had signed a form allowing maintenance or management to enter my apartment if needed while i was out.they never called before hand to let me know they were going into my apartment nor did they bother to call me after they had left.when i went to the office to ask them what was going on with my rug they said they didnt smell anything and then they proceeeded to try to trick me into something.they kept questioningin what i was saying for example...me: "i left my bedroom window open bc i didnt want to leave the balcony door open just in case someone wanted to get in my apartment" management: "but i thought you just said your bedroom didnt get shampooed and didnt smell funny that doesnt make sense'' BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY F*ING WINDOW IN MY APARTMENT ..THANK YOU!! and then they wanted me to wait 2 more days before doing anything about the smell....im sorry ...my apartment smells disguisting..they should find out what the rug shampooers are using because it is absolutely disguisting!!
