We were desperate for an apartment so grabbed this one without really looking around too much. Big mistake. About two weeks after we moved in our upstairs neighbor moved in and that's when the peace and quiet disappeared. There's a woman in back of us that screams at her kids all day, theres a man down the street that picks fights with the parents at the bus stop. The maintainence crew slams things around downstairs all hours, including late sunday nights. The maintanence guys ARE really nice though and very friendly. Our truck was broken into THREE DAYS BEFORE Christmas!! The heat barely works, either that or its way too hot. There's been problems with the water being shut off. We have to sleep with a fan on to drown out the upstairs noise and traffic(we live right off the road in building 10). Our room had supposedly been renovated and while the floor tiles and counters are nice, that's where the renovations stop. The tiles are falling off in the shower and our spray hose leaks into the cabinet under the sink. There's lead in the paint along the windows. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you get a second floor apartment or one of the Garden apartments in the back (I've heard they're pretty nice). This place is terrible and we're trying to break our lease to get the heck out.
