I have lived in NPT Green for about 4 years and the latter two years saw the complex make great strides in improving, with a new management company, new board members and a re-emphasis on much needed exterior enhancements and curb appeal.
During the time that I lived there, I will say that I found the complex to be relatively quiet and safe - much quieter than downtown where I had lived prior. Each unit is privately owned, and ours was tastefully furnished and had been recently renovated. The rent included our heat and water and our electric bills were nominal. Our unit had a deck that overlooked a courtyard that provided a nice amount of privacy.
In the years that I lived there, I did observe a number of improvements, such as exterior painting and new shutters, new roofs on several buildings in the complex, new exterior lighting, - all done throughout the complex. There is certainly more curb-appeal work that can be done, but I think the buildings are over 40 years old, so I guess that can be expected of an association of its age.
The new manager in the office was a great addition - very courteous and responsive and had done a better job of being more customer-friendly than previous office personnel.
All in all, NPG is a good value for the money.
