I currently live @ Hillside Terrace, and although I have had my share of minor issues, its nothing thats uncommon no matter what complex you live in. There are always one or two tennants that are noisy or dont respect where they live. Its unfortunate that these people exist...and I do agree that management should have a tighter corrective process but I have also seen management in action when someone does complain. Many of the apartements have been redone and modernized, but keep in mind that these buildings have been around for 30 or so years. And there are at least 200 of them. I currently live in a one bedroom that is for the most part, a nice apartment. No dishwaser is my only gripe but many of the apartments do have them. There has been a pet issue with where people take them on the grounds, but management has addressed this and it hasnt been a problem recently. I dont see litter or beer bottles as one persons review stated..and I have lived in two different buildings over the past two years. So...I recommend you check it out for yourself and not just go by what these reviews say. Overall, its a nice place to live especially if you want to be close to the city but in a residential neighborhood thats far enough away from it.
