Was great getting in, left a bad taste when I left.

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2000
I rented a 3 bedroom apartment from Parkview from March 1999 until March 2000. My roommates and I were able to move in very quickly and the fact that heat & hot water are included in the rent were a big plus. The walls are not the thickest and when everyone in the building takes a shower in the morning the water pressure but mostly the hot water were affected greatly. When things would stop working it would be fixed within the next 2 working days. However, when we moved out we did not get all of our security deposit back. They held $150.00 for what they claimed were the repair of mini-blinds. Each window has metal mini-blinds and from the cat jumping up on the window cill, two blinds were bent on the living room blinds and four blinds were bent on the master bedroom blinds. I could not see the replacement of 6 metal blinds would cost $150.00 so I called and inquired. For the first time I was treated rudely from the staff at Parkview and was told that in order for the blinds to have been damaged I must have lead a "reckless lifestyle". Needless to say I wanted to see the invoice that would show me it cost $150.00 to fix these blinds. She said that when she received the invoice she would call meand if the repairs were less then $150.00 I would get the difference back, but never did. I never followed through, but I do not recommend this place if you plan to live there for 1 or 2 years. But if you do live there, when you move out take pictures of every room and video tape every room. I have heard from other people that lived there and they did not get their security deposit back in full either.
