The apartments look OK on the outside, and the management will fool you by acting overly friendly and talking about all of the amenities like the pool and gym....but when you actually move in, you will realize you have been utterly swindled and are now paying an insane amount of rent for substandard living conditions. This place is a nightmare, at best. Still, they have the nerve to charge the prices of some of the best neighborhoods in Rhode Island!

I moved here from New York City, and also was not aware what a dumpy neighborhood it is until I was actually in it. You can get an apartment on the East Side of Providence for what you would be paying at Parkview apartments.

By the way, the "Park View" is actually and literally a view of a trailer park. They don't tell you that when you are signing your lease.

The interior of the apartments are horrible. Obviously the cheapest materials were used. There is CONTACT paper on the bathroom floors instead of linoleum and the cupboards are made of particle board.

The management is snarky and condescending at best. They have a million and one rules and will often notify you a day before that they will be entering your apartment for "inspections" and whatnot. One time, I was barged in upon by a maintenance man while I was sound asleep on my sofabed!

The place is infested with drug addicts and alcoholics. Synringes can be found all over the sometimes well-manicured lawn. On Friday and Saturday nights you can count on overhearing at least a half dozen screaming matches.

AVOID THIS PLACE! IT IS A NIGHTMARE
