Best building in the city - i am leaving The Promenade after over 2 years and I have to say that my renting experience at The Promenade was the best I've ever had. The building is immaculate, the amenties are great, the staff is wonderful and the buidling is by far the nicest in the city. The only downfall is the lack of washers and dryers in the apartments, but that is due to the age and historic ...Full review of The Promenade

Close to great restaurants and shopping - I have lived at The 903 now for over two years, and I am very pleased with the location, safety, amenities, and friendly residents. I'm sure not everyone who comes here finds everything they want, but I have found the management to be responsive and earnest in providing what residents may need. ...Full review of The 903

First of all, management will never tell you that this place is unsafe. They will tell you square in the face that it is a great place to live. Do not be fooled. I lived on a first floor apartment and just recently moved the heck out of there. I was there for a year and a ...Full review of Westfield Lofts

good and bad...up to you. - The grounds and the bldg. are impeccably maintained, and when you have a problem, the doorman/management is responsive. The location is great. Also, although I never used them, there are many amenities generally only found in NYC apartments (like a business center, gym, catered lunch, etc.). I am a full-time NYC resident and my Regency apt was my pie de terre, so ...Full review of Regency Plaza

Help! Should I rent? - I'm currently in talks with Brentwood to rent The Weekapaug..they said they won't be actually able to show me the unit before I move in. Does anyone still live there that is renting one? I would really like to see it before I move in. The model unit is roughly 2xs the size of The Weekapaug, so it would really help me out! Good and Bad - I lived in WM for 2 years. Good: 1. Location 2. Maintenance happened in a timely manner 3. Concierge (especially Virginia -- she is the best) Bad: 1. Overpriced -- I could have found a similar 2 bedroom in the neighborhood for $400 less. Even as the housing market was tanking, Christine raised the rent on me. That was one thing that made me move out. 2. No control over heat and heated to 95 ...Full review of Wayland Manor

It would be a good place if... - ...they genuinely took care of the requests of the tenants. They throw "tenant appreciation" events, but it stops there. The staff spends more time hanging holiday decorations than taking care of the real needs of the tenants. The workout area is constantly missing cleaning solutions and remote controls, and its machines stay broken for weeks at a time. One of the "security ...Full review of Rising Sun Mills

Hope it's better now - Not a very good place when I lived there. The building manager not only doesn't have an office in the building, she's not even in the same state! I'm not kidding.
The property management company, once they get you to move in, could not care less about you.
And the owners are so busy opening new apartment buildings that they forget about the quality of life in ones ...Full review of Smith Lofts

Know what you're getting into... - My wife and I lived in two different University Heights apartments during the two years that we lived there. For the first year we lived in an older unit and had pretty much no major complaints. We were then asked to move across the parking lot (the moving company was paid for by the management) to a newly refurbished unit. That's when the trouble began. Our outdoor patio set was stolen ...Full review of University Heights on One Thomas Olney Common
