5 years at Charter - I lived in a Charter Realty building for 5 years (Pleasant St). It took them 4 years to fix the cracked and peeling plaster over the bathtub and they never fixed the garbage disposal which never worked. There was also a drawer in the kitchen that they nailed shut rather than fix it. OK for 1st Apartment - I was 19 when I moved here. Little did I know it was a senior citizen community. However, there were other "younger" tenants. The rent was fair for a studio apartment. Maintenance was always taken care of within 24 hours and the people in the office were always helpful and kind. In the 3 years I've lived there the only complaints were that my neighbors were noisy.
