I've been living in an Armory Revival apartment for 2 years and am desperately looking to get out. Rents are raised considerably each year, sometimes twice, due to property tax raises. When I first rented, I was told that I could have a pet. Then when I adopted my dog, I was told diferently. In spite of terms in my lease, I fought for 2 weeks to get approved. (They sent a notice changing the policy. However, many new tenants with pets have moved in.)

My apartment has been broken into twice, with no visible tampering of doors and windows. My neighbor was also broken into in the same fashion. I have not given an extra key to anyone--and staff at the company have intimated that I may be the cause, asking if I've given keys out to friends or ex-boyfriends. Also, lights around the building are often out. A workman for the company admitted that he doesn't feel that the company keeps the apartment areas safe enough, although he has suggested extra precautions.

On many occasions, workmen have entered my apartment without my permission (a huge no-no according to state tenant laws and regulations). They have ceased this, again, after much argument and many threats.

There is a lot of turnover ath the company and because of this, there is a lack of organization.

Although the apartments are quite pretty, the Armory Revival is clearly concentrating on their big money makers--townhouses, lofts and commercial properties.

I have to say that my experience has been quite different. When we had first moved in, it seemed there was a lot of turnover in the office, but I have to say that i've spoken to the same people there for the last few years. and they have always been helpful and nice.
