I have also had problems with Dan, saying that certain things will get done and they haven't. When I showed up for moving day, they were not even done with the renovations to the apartment they said would be done prior to my move in. The shower was not even working! I was not informed of this until I went to the office to get the keys on moving-in day. I was moving from 3 hours away and my whole family came to help, it was quite upsetting. Within my first week of living there, I had my patio door smashed in, my bedroom flooded, and the furnace was leaking. The carpets in both my bedroom and around the furnance still contain mold. They said that they were going to have someone clean the carpets, but never did. I have wrote several letters, and not even a response. I now have new allergies. The noise level is very loud with constant music and yelling all through the night. I do not feel it is a safe environment at all. Neighbors are not friendly and most of them are low-income.
The apartment itself is nice (besides the mold problem) and newly renovated. However, the construction was poorly done. I do not believe it is worth the price of rent, especially when most of the other tenants are subsidized.
