My family were the first residents of 31 Roger Williams Green in Jan 1968, living there thru June 1969. The square footage was more than sufficient, with good closet space and obviously everything brand new and perfect. The grounds were just beginning to be put together, have no special memories of that. Parking was more than enough and there was no crime. Don't recall the exact amount, but rent was under $150. While I don't pretend to have known all my neighbors, those I did were wonderful. All races, religions etc blended together. Proof in my daughter's 1st Birthday pictures. As this was our first apartment, it has held many memories for me over the years. Only by accident did I stumble over this site, as well as a few others where I could see current pictures. Moving back to CT and never returning to RI, it saddens me to read so many negative reviews. Living with so many, isn't a easy task. I often wonder, how many families have lived in my old "home" since we left.
