I agree 100% with all the posts about criminal activity and vandalism around this area. Even though the apartments are in great condition, stuff and maintenance are on superb level, the crime level is on the rise. This USED to be a good neighborhood, but things have changed. A lot of residents deal drugs, behave themselves violently and don't care to bring up their kids properly. There have been a lot of car windows smashed by local kids or even kids visiting from across the street just for fun. Security vigilance has increase, but it has not changed a thing. Until management decides to treat this community as a private place - install cameras, introduce visitor pass, monitor entrance and etc., there will be no change for the better.
I feel sorry for people who have to pay so much money (the rent is pretty steep) for a place where they can't even get a piece of their mind.
I would not recommend University Heights to my friends.
