Overall, I like living at Westfield Lofts. I'm a mid-20's college student who has been living here since Aug 2007. Moving here from NYC took a little getting used to, but I'm used to living in a city and all that goes along with that (noise, traffic, loud neighbors). Now, I should say that a lot of the reviews on here do have some truth to them. But for the most part, I would reccomend Westfield based on the space and price alone. One thing that I have noticed is that maintenance always seem to be needing to get into my apartment to change air filters, check fire alarms, etc...I appreciate the work being done but usually am not home while they enter my apartment so I don't feel absolutely comfortable with someone in my apt. when I'm not there, but I have NOT had ANY problems AT ALL regarding anything missing or feeling like anything was touched while I was not there (they always give you advanced notice in writing that they will be entering your apartment on a specific date and time range). The neighborhood is definitely not the best area I have lived in, but I'm from NYC. Crackwhores and homeless people don't bother me unless they are aggressive. I definitely would not recommend walking around the area late at night if I was a single female, but for the most part, just use common sense and you'll be OK... The last thing I want to mention is the noise factor, the one review on here that states that you can hear your neighbors through your walls and floors is true, but the only time it bothers me is when I can hear my neighbor's alarm clock at 6am and they don't shut it off for a good 30 minutes, EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING... The last thing I want to mention is that they definitely need to put up surveillance cameras in the parking lot, there has been some property damage and vandalism to some cars in the parking lot and was told that cameras were in the process of being installed but have yet to see them in the parking lots.

I just want to update you that the cameras have been up for about 5 months now in the parking lot. if you look at the corners of the building halg way down you can see them. I know this is true cause my car was vandalized and I went to the management and he showed me how it happened although we seen the person we had the police take a look to see if they can recognize him

Just a question for the last response: Did you end up renting here? If so, what was the outcome?
